Hey Brian, there are many groups to contact for riding. Depending on what you like to ride I would recommend different groups as they specialize in certain disciplines, such as road or mountain, touring, endurance, scenic, xc DH, all mountain/trail riding. You have lots of options. A few I would recommend are Fatrac, Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship, Chico Velo puts on a lot of cool road rides/centuries. Hi Kass, there are a few options for you here. Trek and Cannondale both offer you Comfort bikes, Hybrid bikes and performance fit road bikes, all of which would offer you the ability to ride leisurely and give you the capability to ride longer. The comfort bikes will be the least fun for longer rides as they will be a bit heavier and not as efficient but boy are they comfy to ride. The hybrids will tend to be lighter and have taller wheels, making it easier to ride longer. The performance fit road bike is the best for longer distances but will cost a bit more and weigh a lot less. Your average bike price for these will begin about $349. Hey Cloud, it sounds pretty common. Every high pressure tire will leak air slowly. Is the pressure difference really significant? Most tires will leak about ten to fifteen psi per month. Sometimes it can leak a bit more but that is the average. Just pump them up before you ride and they should be fine. Good Morning Randy, what kind of trails are you looking for? Road Bikes will commonly use the American River Parkway that runs from Downtown Sac to Folsom. It's a great ride with awesome scenery. If you're looking for Mountain Bike trails, Folsom again has a great network of trails easily ridable for any age or ability. Granite Bay at the end of Douglas Blvd is an excellent staging point. Auburn is also a great place to ride and offers a little more elevation and technical challenges. We run group rides out of the hub three days a week.
